Discover. Create. Launch.
The Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub is an interdisciplinary collaboration venue, co-working space, and training center for new and early stage entrepreneurs in Northwest Arkansas. Its members include University of Arkansas student, faculty, and alumni entrepreneurs, many of whom are creating and advancing new knowledge-based ventures in NWA.
Coworking Space
Anyone in the University of Arkansas community with an interest in entrepreneurship and innovation may use the Hub as a coworking space during business hours (8-5, M-F). Hub members may apply for keycard access, reserve rooms in advance, and hold business meetings at the Hub. Available spaces, all equipped with Wi-Fi, video monitors and an Ideapaint wall, include:
- Small huddle rooms appropriate for groups of 2-4.
- A large conference room for groups of 8-12.
- Common spaces, including indoor/outdoor patios and the "living room," which accommodates 50 people.
Workshops & Seminars
The Hub offers a variety of free workshops on topics ranging from lean canvas principles to design thinking to how to pitch an idea or find investors. Faculty with an interest in using workshops as a required or optional component of their courses should contact José Cartagena Ortiz at jcartagena@walton.uark.edu.
Expert Office Hours
Hub members may reserve 1:1 consulting time with experts in the areas of branding and marketing, technology assessment, and accounting. To request time with one of our experts, please fill out this form or contact the Office of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at oei@uark.edu.
Public Events
While most events at the Hub are designed for the university community, we offer occasional “Lunch and Learn” gatherings on timely topics of interest to the wider entrepreneurial community. Sign up for our email newsletter, to receive information about these events.
