The 2021 Arkansas Capital Scan examines the capital resources flowing into small businesses, startups, and growth companies in the state of Arkansas over the course of a calendar year.
Intended to be an annual effort, the goals of this report are 1) to help expand capital inflows and the performance of venture investment in the state of Arkansas by creating and maintaining a view of the landscape of capital resources; and 2) to identify gaps and opportunities where new policies, programs, or additional funds could be deployed to help entrepreneurs succeed.
This marked the second year of the Arkansas Capital Scan. We endeavored to develop a landscape scan of the capital resources available to businesses in Arkansas in an effort to understand deal flow and identify gaps and opportunities for new programs and policies to attract investment to Arkansas businesses.
